Just as we all have a little black dress I personally think we should all have a navy handbag. There are several reasons for this. As new fashion trends spring upon us almost monthly most women find they have a whole range of bags in there closets such as sparkly bags for evening events, straw bags perfect for vacations and fur bag.

What about those days when you just want a day to day bag or have an outfit that does not need a bag that is over the top and clashes? This is where the navy handbag is ideal.

Navy blue is a color that literally goes with anything, yet it is a little more adventurous than plain black. I have several bags in navy blue, one is an ordinary handbag that is large and durable enough for me to take to work, the dark color is great for me as I must admit to just throwing my bag under my desk when I arrive each morning, which unfortunately has left marks on my lighter bags, with navy bags these marks are less noticeable.

I also have a navy satin clutch purse, this has been used countless times when I go out in the evening as no matter what color outfit I wear it fits nicely with everything. You can buy bags in this color in almost every style, I find having one large day bag and a small bag for the evening does the trick. If plain bags are not your thing then there are plenty that have a hint of glamor such as gold buckles or have been decorated with gems.

Having several navy colored bags in my closet is a fashion tip that has never failed me yet.
