Since Michael Kors launched his accessories line in 2001 the most delightful and glamorous handbag collections have been gracing stores such as Bergdorf Goodman and Saks.

The latest collection of Michael Kors handbags come in all shapes and styles such as cross body bags, clutches and the versatile tote. Browsing through his latest collection I noticed that most are gold and neutral colors such as creams and whites.

One Michael Kors handbag that has particularly caught my eye at the moment is the large Kors Lilly Tote in gold. Gold accessories have been a fashion trend that has remained strong for the past few years and is showing no sign of fading away anytime soon.

The gold Kors Lilly Tote that I have been attracted to has been made from a metallic gold leather which is extremely durable. The top handles are mainly made from the same luxurious fabric but are linked to the bag via thick golden colored chains, which are also very popular additions to handbags this year. The handles are large enough for one to wear over their shoulder or they can simply carry it to the side.

The main reason I love tote bags is their size and this bag is no different. The inside height of the tote bag measures 10.5 inches, so it can easily fit many necessities us ladies just have to take with us such as our umbrellas, makeup bag and Blackberry.

One other thing I love about this bag is that it is simple and not over the top despite it being gold in color, the small gold Michael Kors logo on the front of the bag is simply glamorous enough.
