Handbag rental is becoming increasingly popular with many women. There are however two main reasons ones will opt to rent a handbag rather than buy a purse.

The first is those who have an event to go to such as a ball or a wedding and would like a designer purse to go with their outfit. The problem some of us have is these purses in specific can cost a rather large amount of money, thus renting one at around 3 dollars a day seems the best option.

The second common reason why women will opt for handbag rental is to simply try out a purse before they buy their own. Now this is great is you really want to test out a purse before you buy it especially if it is going to cost you a lot of money. This way you can try out several and then make your decision.

However, though the pros of renting a purse may seem plausible, especially given the price difference there are also some cons to renting a bag rather than buying one.

For example if you have rented a gorgeous Prada purse for that highly anticipated annual ball your whole outfit will no doubt look amazing. However, if you damage the purse say with wine, food or have accidentally marked it you will be liable to pay for these damages.

Additionally, some purses may look worn due to them being rented out many times before you hire the purse yourself. This can take the shine off carrying a designer purse often causing disappointment.

Therefore it is often better to save each week or month to by a designer purse, that way it looks brand new and if you do mark it there are no hefty fees to pay. Plus you will own your very own designer purse!
